This blog features Vintage Gospel Albums, the majority of which were recorded in the 1970's. Many of the LPs featured here were created by Cincinnati, Ohio area artists on private press recording and production labels such as Jewel, Rite and QCA (Queen City Album). Here you will find the Good, Bad & Ugly but never The Lackluster! I'm here to have fun and hope you will share in my process of discovery!

Queen City Album - Cincinnati, Ohio
This is the Montgomery Convention's first album. The cover image is The Carrillon Bell Tower in Dayton, Ohio.
I am singing on this album in the group "The Sound Dimension", I have a copy of this somewhere buried in my collection. We also cut a 45 while we were in the studio, it didn't go gold, but I have a copy I wrapped in aluminum foil.
