From the back cover: Since August of 1976, I have been a featured singer on the Renfro Valley Jamboree, at the New Red Barn in Renfro Valley, Kentucky. Glenn Pennington, part owner of Renfro Valley Folks, Inc., and responsible for the Jamboree, had long believed that Gospel Singing would be an attractive Saturday afternoon feature at Renfro Valley, and that Lenville was the man to head up such a program. So arrangements were made to begin the annual summer series of afternoon singings, starting on the first Saturday in May which was May 7, 1977, 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., and will run through October each year.

Visitors From Outer Space
What Saith The Lord?
Sermon By Rev. Bill Riddick
Artists Records - Cincinnati, Ohio
731154

From the back cover: Sermon preached by Bill Riddick, Sunday, Oct. 14, 1973 after access to facts concerning the UFO incident in Pascagoula that are still unknown to the public. Bro. Riddick also conferred by telephone with SALEM KIRBAN, author of several prophetic books and Dr. Edward F. Hills, author of The New Space Age Library. Hear shocking quotations from Mr. Stephen R. Putnam, (see his picture and story on front page, Miss. Press, Oct. 15), from Mass. He has been working with UFO Research since 1950. Rev. Riddick met Mr. Putnam at the sight of the reported UFO landing at midnite, Oct. 13, there led him to Christ and baptized him the next day.

Without A Song - Gene Smith

Without A Song

Without A Song
Featuring Gene Smith
Artists Recording Company - Cincinnati, Ohio
700804

From the back cover: EUGENE SMITH: "Gene", as he is most popularly known, is no newcomer to gospel music. Through the years he has worked at becoming one of the best "soul" gospel organists of the times. It can be said that this artist literally grew up with gospel music, starting back in the middle thirties as a teenager when "soul" gospel music was practically in its infancy.

Gene developed his style during a twelve year stint as organist and choir director at the Bible Way Church Of God In Christ, Cincinnati, Ohio where his music was enjoyed literally by thousands through the weekly broadcasts from the church and also live audiences. It is the "driving" sound of his organ that backs up the church choir on the hit album, "Let The Church Roll On", that enjoyed huge sucess during the sixties.

Gene is presently employed as a salesman by Hammond Organ Studios Of Cincinnati and has greatly influenced many young musicians in and around the Greater Cincinnati area. He is also Manager, Director, and organist of the Noel Gospel Singers who have been, for the past five years, a regular Sunday morning feature on station WKRC-TV of Cincinnati. He is also the organist at Rose Chapel Baptist Church in Cincinnati.

Gene is currently under contract with Sonny Simmons Gospel Promotions of Cleveland, Ohio, touring the mid-west in concerts with some of the top names in gospel music. Along with his busy schedule, he is employed by the newly-formed Artists Recording Company of Cincinnati, Ohio as a back-up organist on recording sessions. Here is another one of those musicians that has the uncanny ability to communicate his soul through his instrument, in this case, the keyboards of the organ. On this album Gene accompanies himself on the piano, and his son, Charles, backs him up on the drums.

This album is long over due, owing to the many requests of Gene's listeners for a solo recording. We present for your listening pleasure "Without A Song". – Homer Milam, President Artists Recording Company
