The Southlanders Sing Family Bible

The Angels Must Have Cried
The Southlanders Sing Family Bible
Recorded at Jewel Recording Studios - Mt. Healthy, Ohio
Engineered and Produced by Rusty York
Jewel Records LPM 120

From the back cover: The Southlanders have selected for this album some of their favorite gospel songs. They are performed by a group that sings with great meaning. Each member of the group knows the Savior of whom they sing through their own personal experience. The title song is an old one, and very beautiful in itself, but the Southlanders add new meaning and inspiration in the form of a recitation written by Jason Roberts and given in the song by his brother, Reverend Ronnie Roberts.

Now to meet the Southlanders: singing lead we have Basil Sutton and Wayne Simpson; backing them up in close harmony we have Lenora Roberts, Connie Sutton, and Janet Roberts; singing bass we have Reverend Don Dwinell; and last, but not least, we have our alto singer who started the group and presently manages it, Reverend Ronnie Roberts. At the piano we have Wanda Dwinell; playing lead guitar is Homer England; playing bass guitar is Cliff Crabtree. Each and every member joins me in saying we hope that in some way this album will be a blessing to you.

Oh, The Glory Did Roll
The Angels Must Have Cried
I'm Nearer Home
Sweeter As The Days Go By
Born To Serve The Lord
When I Looked Up And He Looked Down
Inside The Gate
Who Am I
I Wouldn't Take Nothing For My Journey Now
My Heavenly Home
Family Bible
Without Him
