REM Records - Lexington, Kentucky
REM LP 1001
This is one of the several albums O'Day made after turning her back on a successful recording and touring career after she suffered a nervous breakdown in the late 40s. She turned, with her husband, Lynn Davis, guitarist for The Forty Niners (who became an ordained minister) to preaching to coal mining communities of West Virginia.
This LP is but one of many fine southern country recordings found on REM.
