We were raised in Clay County, Ky, and both blessed with Christian parents, who taught us to, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". Thank God for our Christian parents.
We've lived in Hamilton, Ohio for nearly twenty years and are members of the Pentecostal Highway of Holiness Church, Rev. John W. Carter, pastor. We appreciate our pastor and church.
We were married March 24, 1939, and have a son, Gerald. He has been a real blessing to our home. He's now with the U. S. Army, stationed in Thailand. We're praying God will save him, and bring him home safe.
We know the Lord as our personal saviour, healer and helper in time of need. About twenty nine years ago, Sister Burns had tuberculosis. When it seemed all hope was gone, He came to our rescue and wonderfully healed her. Since then, we've tried to be a blessing to others by singing and telling others about the Lord.
When I was unable to attend church, I enjoyed listening to songs of praise on records. If anyone is ever helped by listening to this record, we would appreciate hearing from you.
It's centainly a privilege to work with Brother and Sister Lowery, in revivals and on this record. He is a minister and she sings for the Lord: They are good friends and wonder- ful Christians.
Hoping to be a blessing to you,
Rosco and Esther Burns

From the back cover: My husband and I were both born in Madison County and were raised in and around the town of Richmond, Ky. We first met in 1950 at the Free Pentecostal Holiness Church located on Orvine View in Richmond, Ky. where my Dad, Rev. Ora Still is pastor. We were married two years later and moved to Hamilton, Ohio. We have lived here for 16 years.
It has been a little over five years since the Lord wonderfully saved my soul and five months later gave me the Holy Ghost. In 1967 my husband gave his soul to the Lord and the Lord saved him and gave him the Holy Ghost and in 1968 called him into the Ministry. Our home church is the Pentecostal Highway of Holiness Church, on Route 4, Hamilton, Ohio, where the Rev. John Carter is pastor. It is where we first met the Burns Family and have since become close friends. They have been a real blessing to us and travel with us often when we are in revivals. They are real wonderful Christians and singers for the Lord. We are pleased and privileged to be able to work together with the Burns' in making this album.
Sincerely Yours in Christ,
Robert and Marie Lowery

I Can Tell You The Time
I'm Going Home
Prisoner Of Love
Weapon Of Prayer
We Will Cross Over
Soon Be Down With Troubles And Trials
His Hand On My Shoulder
I Just Steal Away And Pray
From Mothers Arms To Vietnam
The Darkest Hour
I'll Not Be A Stranger
He Touched Me
