I Lost It All, To Find Everything
Morning Son Records
Cyberteknic Creative Recording 197?
Another great private press from a lost to history group out of Springfield, Ohio, produced by Gary Cohn, WBZI Radio 95.3 FM, Xenia, Ohio.
This blog features Vintage Gospel Albums, the majority of which were recorded in the 1970's. Many of the LPs featured here were created by Cincinnati, Ohio area artists on private press recording and production labels such as Jewel, Rite and QCA (Queen City Album). Here you will find the Good, Bad & Ugly but never The Lackluster! I'm here to have fun and hope you will share in my process of discovery!
Loved this group and their music. Such beautiful blend of voices and great personalities.
ReplyDeleteI too loved the Heaven-aires and their music. Sadly, Tim Curtis, lead singer, super talented, died from leukemia Dec. 30, 1990. He had two little girls ages 10 and 3 at the time. They would love to have any of his albums if anyone has one. If so, contact me at prl_45415@yahoo.com. Thank you and God Bless.
ReplyDeleteHi Mark, I am really loving, and am obsessed with this site. So much great music to discover, and hear. Thank you for doing it! My current favorite is The Gospel Trio “Sings One More Day”. I have been looking on EBay, and discogs.com, but nothing comes up. No luck on finding any info on them whatsoever. I see that you don’t post or stream the full albums if they are made available to the public on vinyl or compact disc. Was this album reissued? I would really love to track down a copy. Collecting vintage / private pressing Christian albums has become a passion of mine, so it’s nice to see that there are other kindred spirits out there, giving attention to these insanely amazing artists. - Damien Jurado (Washington State)
ReplyDeleteA family member just sent this to me and I just played it for the first time in a very, very long time. I am actually Tim’s daughter and can’t ever remember hearing him sing because I was only three when he passed.
