  2. He had a heart attack and died in the early to mid 90's . My father was at the concert when this happened. Sad to see him go. He was a hero of mine. I got to sing with him about 2 or 3 months before he past.

    2. I was looking for that one too and it just came to my mind today. I had his 8 tracks in the early 70s' and it was the first Christian singer I heard when I was first saved at the age of 16 and I loved his voice.

    I grew with him coming to our camp meeting at Mt. Zion Campground in Ponce De Leon Springs, FL. I was in my mid-teens. He made a huge impact on my life

    1. I also grew up with him coming to Mt. Zion Campgrounds in PDL, I too was in my mid-teens. He lead me to Christ one night after services. I will always be grateful. I think of him often. I still have all 5 of the albums he sold at the back. R.I.P. Mack Evans Enjoy all the rewards of heaven, you deserve them. I will see you again soon.

  9. im looking for a song I heard mack sing many years ago, I believe the name of the song is "in your garden the rose will bloom again" its not the same song that the gaithers and easters sing, talks about Abraham and Lot, the darkest hour is just before dawning keep trusting till the night is done
