The Rexroats, according to the album notes, were natives of Russell County, KY. Johnny worked as a radio announcer for a number of radio stations including, WIRV, Irvin, KY, WMOR, Moorehead, KY and WJRS, Jamestown, KY.

  1. I used to have a cassete tape of the Rexroats. I would like to have a recording of them if available. Also I remember the 3 Cardon Sisters(gospel singers) from Kentucky. Does anyone else remember them? If so, please let me know. Thanks

  4. they were friends of mine in KY. are they still singing? I tried to pull up fb page, found no results. they used to come to Spring Creek in Albany KY. Mary Harvey

  6. they are going to be at Bradly Hoosiers Jesus name church on the 15th of august @ 7:00 pm. it is right before you get in to Campbellsville Ky on the left a little block building
