Wayfaring Pilgrim By Mae Terry

Wayfaring Pilgrim

Gospel artist who was working out of Cumming, GA.

This album is a good example of not judging a book by the cover. Mae Terry isn't some semi-trained warbling "church lady" making another dull private press gospel album. She is a self confident "folk" artist who can belt out a tune in a honest and unique way that grabs your attention.

  1. Mae Terry was an anointed, well-known and highly-traveled lady evangelist for the Church of God (headquarters Cleveland, TN) who impacted many lives, preaching many revivals in the US and Europe that lasted for 4-8 weeks. She was a woman filled with the Holy Spirit and great discernment. She mentored many young ministers and Christians and is now at home with her Lord. I knew her personally, had her in my home and was greatly influenced by her ministry. Floyd McComb, Augusta, Georgia.

    1. Mae Terry was my grandmother. She was a great Holy Ghost filled preacher. She is the reason I am in church today. We have this album and are currently trying to get it formatted to Mp3. If you want a copy email Phil Ricks at "phricks1@gmail.com".

    2. Phillip,

I grew up in Cumming and Buford Church of God was my church home. Sister Terry was a spiritual mentor to my mother when I was a young child. I spend many days at her knee, in her home, in my grade school years and was endlessly fascinated by her walk with the Lord. She was an amazing lady.
