  5. I have been searching for music from the North Family for so long! When I was very young they performed at my church and my grandmother had their record, but over time it was lost. For years now when ever I see a stack of records at a flea market, yard sale, or consignment shop, I search for a record by the North Family, but have never been lucky enough to find one. I would absolutely LOVE to have a copy of their music. If any one knows where I could buy their music, or at least point me in the right direction, please email me at terri429@gmail.com. Thanks!

  9. There is one of their songs on you tube "Theres been a lot of changes by the North family" The sister Sharon went to the same church I went to about 25 years ago. She had married and I can't remember her married name.

  12. This was 1 of my favorite groups growing up. They would visit Wood Road Church were my family attended church at. My mom was one of the Wood Road Singers. You just couldn't beat the harmonies with groups like this. I just found all there albums on google and it took me to youtube to listen to them. What a treat. It just goes to show that your work for the Lord will continue to touch lives that you may never know.

  13. I’ve found that they’ve used at least three variations of their name.
All these years I was looking for the North Family but when I finally found the record I have been looking for they called themselves “The Singing Norths”, the album is called Watching and Waiting. I also found albums where they used “The Norths” and of course “The North Family”.
