I bought this album because of the great cover art. I did not photoshop this image. The colors are true. They are very muted and subdued. It looks more like a vintage jazz cover, rather than gospel. The art director probably caught hell because you can not read the yellow type treatment.
The first track on the A side, however is my favorite. Is this a soundtrack from a cowboy movie? No wait... where'd that jazz guitar riff come from?!!

The bass singer, Bill Pearce, made several solo albums, vocals and trombone instrumentals. He also hosted the Nightsounds radio program for years.
